  • Waitangi to me means that it’s an National day off for the New Zealanders
  • Waitangi is the day when the Maori and the Britain came together and signed the Treaty  of Waitangi
  • Waitangi day is on the 6th of February each year  
  • Waitangi Day started on the year of 1840

  • A Waitangi day is when most Maori Chiefs and Britains remembered what they back in 1840 6th of February,
  • A Waitangi Day is when Maori chiefs and Britains Take charge and Participate, have Partnership, and Protection
  • A Treaty of Waitangi is something that the Britains and Maori sign to give peace to New Zealand
  • Also A Waitangi Treaty is to show other Nations from around the world that they are Welcome to visit New Zealand
