= 5 because 5 times 8 = 40 and she puts 5 mini chocolate bars in each goodie bag
Addition. Trevor has to drive 422 km’s. He looks at his odometer and sees he has gone 289 kms. How much further has he got to go?
422 - ? = 289 289 - ? = 422
289 + 1 = 290 290 + 10 = 300 300 +122 = 422
122 + 10 + 1 = 133
