What I now know about the Gecko A gecko is timid creature It runs with amazing speed geckos pause most times when it trys to see if danger is ahead but most geckos are not lucky enough to escape in one piece geckos use its detachable tail in two ways if an enemy grabs the tail in its mouth the tail drop off while the gecko goes free the gecko’s tail comes off without causing any harm to the animal the muscles close to the tail quickly draw tightly together as the tail comes off geckos can grow another tail the gecko’s tail is useful to help balance when its climbing
